Project overview:
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is proposing roadway extensions beginning near the existing SL 20 and Mangana-Hein Road in Webb County, Texas. The extensions include:

• SL 20 Extension from Mangana-Hein Road to Segment 2 Laredo Outer Loop (approximately three miles)
• Rio Bravo Extension from US 83 at Espejo Molina to SL 20 Extension (approximately two miles)
• Segment 1 Outer Loop from US 83 to the New Border Facility (approximately three miles)
• Segment 2 Outer Loop from SL 20 to US 83 (approximately two miles)

The purpose of this proposed project is to improve mobility and safety as well as to facilitate regional mobility, connectivity, and system linkages.
